WISDOM FROM MICHAEL DUNN, author of What’s
The BIG Secret. http://michaelpdunn.org/Success.html This is from Page 122 and is
in keeping with today being election day.
In my opinion I have never seen our country so divided with little to no
hope of reuniting it any time soon. That adds to everyone’s daily stress
levels. The following was written in 2002:
“Life in our world today is filled with stress. Dr. Walt Stoll reports that surveys show the average
person in our culture is exposed to more than 1,000 times as many stresses per
person per day as people were 100 years ago.
That’s 382,000 stresses per day per person. These stressors include psychological,
physical, social, electromagnetic, chemical, etc. As of 1990 scientists had created 500,000
chemicals which have been added to our environment that did not exist 100 years
ago. They now estimate that there are
over 200,000 electromagnetic frequencies in our environment that are man-made
and did not exist 100 years ago. All
stressors cause the same response in your system whether it be chemical,
electromagnetic, time pressure, relationship pressure, or any others. (Gymbeaux
Note: The secret to a lot of our
issues appears to be dependent upon our ability to relieve the stresses in our
lives. With that said, what you are you
doing to take an active approach to relieving the stress in your life?)
