Newsletter for the Week of October 12

QUOTE:  “Distractions cause us to lose our focus.  We allow the trivial to get in the way of the meaningful.” Jon Gordon

REGIONAL FALL CONFERENCE:  You do not want to miss this.  Renaissance Hotel Mobile 64 S Water St. Mobile, AL 36602.  November 14, 15 & 16, 2012.  Resister at: http://tinyurl.com/8kblbtl

YOUR  ST˜R  POWER, SCRIPTS FOR YOUR SUCCESS FROM HOWARD BRINTON:  www.StarPower.com.  LISTING PRESENTATION – EXPLAIN MARKETING CONTINUED (from last several weeks’ newsletters which is archived on the blog):  Real estate is not my hobby. I want you to know that I’m actively working to list and sell all the real estate I can.  This is what I do for a living.  This is all I do.  (Gymbeaux Note:  This is a great place to talk about WHY you do what you do.  Example, to insure that my children and/or grandchildren have get a quality education, then show them a photo of your children.)  I specialize in helping people just like you to get what you want.

WISDOM FROM MICHAEL DUNN, author of What’s The BIG Secret.  http://michaelpdunn.org/Success.html  From page 47:  What is the difference between Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison, Arnold Schwarzenager (may not have used him as an example after his escapades) and you?  They had a purpose?  No, you have a purpose also.  They were really smart?  No, they were average by today’s standards.  Thomas Edison was ridiculously persistent and could follow those hunches, which we can get if we choose, from a supernatural source.  The only difference is they simply followed the process.  No matter how unattainable their ideas, hunches, or goals from the heart, they simply wrote them down, educated themselves in that area, took action to make it happen, and allowed supernatural guidance to lead them.  (Gymbeaux Note:  If it is this easy finding such valuable nuggets on every page of Dunn’s book, why would you not read it?  Just asking….  By the way, he is writing another book that I am sure will be just as fascinating and beneficial as this one if not more.)

THE WORLD OF STEVEN WRIGHT:  I got stopped by a cop the other day. He said, "Why'd you run that stop sign?" I said, "Because I don't believe everything I read."

SPEAKING OF AMBIGUITY:  Do infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery?

UNDENIABLE TRUTH:  Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

FAX FROM YOUR COMPUTER? Yep! Have you ever found yourself at home needing to send someone an email or file but do not have their email address but do have a fax number for them? Example, a lot of doctors do not give out their email but do give out the fax number to their office. If you go to www.FaxZero.com, you can send a fax from your computer without a fax modem. You can send just the cover sheet with your note or you can send a cover sheet and attach a file. Once you send it, you will receive a confirmation email stating that you intend to send a fax via www.faxzero.com. You click on the confirmation and then you receive an email stating the fax has been successfully sent. When you use the program you have the choice of paying for the fax service or using it as a one-time free fax. I have used it many times and have never been denied usage even though I have never paid to send a fax. Use it until they discontinue the free fax service.

WE’VE (I’VE) GOT YOUR BACK.  Unique marketing idea.    https://secure.systememerge.com/viewemail-76008-8e64b36c.html

BOOK RECOMMENDATION - KILLING KENNEDY, by Bill O’Reilly  Just about everyone over the age of 12 when it happened remembers.  Bill O’Reilly has written a really good book, Killing Kennedy that is well worth the read. He has also written Killing Lincoln which is also a great read.  The lives of Kennedy and Lincoln are so closely related it is uncanny.  Reading the book both brings back memories but also fills in a lot of the missing pieces of history. http://killingkennedythebook.com  Killing Lincoln:  http://killinglincolnthebook.com

KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL, by Jon Gordon.  Sometimes we worry so much about what we are doing, saying or think we should be doing or saying we forget to keep our eye(s) on the ball.  This Jon Gordon article will certainly hit home for a lot of folks who aren’t achieving all they want to achieve.  The book referred to in the article, The Energy Bus is in the bookshelf on the Market Center if you are interested.  http://www.jongordon.com/positive-tip-keep-your-eye-on-the-ball.html
