MARKET CENTER CHRISTMAS PARTY IS THIS EVENING
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO THE TEAM
AND EVERYONE WHO READS THIS
QUOTE: A member of Parliament said to Disraeli: "Sir, you will either
die on the gallows or of some unspeakable disease." “That depends, Sir," said Disraeli, "whether I embrace your policies or
your mistress."
YOUR STAR POWER, SCRIPTS FOR YOUR SUCCESS FROM HOWARD
BRINTON: www.StarPower.com. LISTING PRESENTATION –
PRICING: Buyer Determines Value. You’re (the Sellers) going to set the price of your home, but it’s the buyer that ultimately
determines the value. What I mean by
that is that you can put a million dollars on it, but unless somebody’s willing
to pay a million dollars and more importantly, an appraiser is willing to appraise it at a million dollars, you haven’t sold it.
What I try to do is give you the facts about what has sold (the Market
has accepted) and what’s for sale now (the competition). I will also give you the facts about expired listings (homes the market rejected) so you can make a wise
decision. If a house is priced properly
from the beginning, it should sell for full value, and in less time to boot.
WISDOM FROM MICHAEL DUNN, author of What’s
The BIG Secret. http://michaelpdunn.org/Success.html From page 135: “Remember,
growing older is mandatory – growing up is optional. We make a Living by what we get; we make a
Life by what we give. God promises a
safe landing, not a calm passage. If God
bring you to it, He will bring you through it.
Lord, I love you and I need You, come into my heart today, for without
You I can do nothing.” Source Unknown
THE GENIUS OF JOE TYE; NEVER FEAR; NEVER QUIT; EXPECT A MIRACLE! Rule
#6:
Fear Excludes and Creates Enemies, Courage Includes and Creates Friends.
“Fear wants to keep out anyone who’s
different, who makes you feel the least bit uncomfortable, anyone who
challenges your established opinions and assumptions. At the same time that your fear is excluding
them, their fear is excluding you.
Pretty soon, you’re not just different to them, you’re worse, too. And it’s not a very big step from being worse
to being wrong. And from being wrong it’s
not a very big step to being an enemy.
Fear excludes and creates enemies.
It takes great courage to bring down the walls of exclusion and reach
out to people who are different from you.” http://www.sparkstore.com/success-motivation-book-cd-nfnq.html

WHAT’S YOUR
FAVORITE WEB SITE? Here’s
mine. www.Pandora.com. For FREE, you enter the name of an artist or
a song. Pandora tries to find either the
artist and/or the song and not only plays it for you, but also finds other
similar artists/songs. You create a FREE
“radio” station of that artist or song type.
I don’t know what the limit is to the number of stations you can create,
I have a bunch. I can also link my smart
phone to my car radio and play Pandora through the radio meaning no commercials and only the type of music I like for as long I want to listen. There are some commercials unless you pay a
subscription price of just $36.00 a year which I finally did. I listen on my desktop, my notebook and on my
cell phone. It is fantastic. What is your favorite site? Let me know and I’ll include it in a future
newsletter.
ANNUAL
AWARDS TIME IS FAST APPROACHING. TODAY’S
MESSAGE FROM WES HOPPER STRIKES A CORD WHEN IT COMES TIME TO RECOGNIZING YOUR
SUCCESS AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THE SUCCESS OF OTHERS:
GRATITUDE
– MAKE A HELPER OUT OF YOUR ENEMY
"Rejoice
in the success of others, especially your competitors and those who consider
themselves your enemies. Your competitors
and enemies will become your helpers when you exult in their success."
Deepak
Chopra
Deepak's got a really good idea here, to give up the idea of dividing the world into winners and losers, good guys and bad guys, based on our own self interest.
The whole idea of competition is based on fear of scarcity. There's not enough to go around. If someone else gets something, they've taken my "stuff."
The truth is - there's always been enough. No one's got your stuff. And if you and your "competitors" can learn how to work together you'll all have more.
Even if your competitor doesn't learn it, you'll do better if you learn it. Take the time and effort you put into worrying about what they might do, and instead spend it finding ways to deliver more value.
In the 1930's, in the depths of the depression, Thomas Watson's IBM salespeople were instructed that if a competitor had a better solution than they did, the salesman should send the customer to
the competitor.
Sounds crazy? Yeah, but that's how they became the biggest computer company in the world.
As Deepak says, rejoice in the success of others.
Some of that will rub off on you.
All the best, Wes
