eEdge Update: As of April 4, 2011, 28,418 agents have registered and set up their eEdge account and web sites. More importantly through April 4, more than 48,321 leads have been sent through the eEdge system. YOU CANNOT RECEIVE AN EEDGE LEAD IF YOU HAVE NOT SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT. You can learn more about eEdge every Friday at 11:00 in the Training Room. The most important action to remember and perform is to make certain that your Keller Williams White Page is up-to-date. When was the last time you checked it.

THIS COULD BE REALLY IMPORTANT AND PUT INCOME IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. CITI and Keller Williams have created a program that involves short sales. CITI will identify homeowners delinquent in their mortgages with CITI and sent them a letter encouraging them to consider a short sale. The letter will identify 3 Keller Williams agents in their area who are QUALIFIED to work short sales. How do you qualify? You must attend one of 4 approved courses and have worked a short sale(s) as a listing agent. You can learn about the qualifications by going to http://apps.kw.com/shortsale. I have checked and you can take the NAR approved course ONLINE by going to http://tinyurl.com/3fw4633. The cost is only $115.00. CITI’s first mailing will be early May 2011. Note: Logic would indicate that you these leads would be distributed based on zip codes. It would therefore be imperative that you make certain that your eEdge web site has the numerous cities and zip codes included on your site. Wayne Setliff sent out an email to everyone with most if not all of the areas cities and zip codes to save you all the work of looking them up. Check your email.

POWER PRINCIPLES, free ebook. The ebook was uploaded to www.SlidellCalendar.com in the Document section in the eBook folder. Add this to your personal growth library.

BROKER BIT: PROTECT YOURSELF – PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS – make certain you do a walk through on all your sales and rentals, ESPECIALLY RENTALS. You are leaving yourself open to all kinds of problems if you do not. Then make certain you upload the results to the Paperless system. REMEMBER, it is YOUR responsibility as the Designated Listing Agent to the sign the receipt at the top of Page One of the Agreement to Purchase and if you are the selling agent it is YOUR responsibility to make certain you obtain the Designated Agent’s receipt on the top of Page One. An email or fax stating the document has been receipted for is acceptable PROVIDED you upload the email or fax to Paperless as proof of receipt.
