Market Center Newsletter for the Week Ending June 12

QUOTE: I guarantee that most people (certainly not you however) will have to read this one a couple of times for it to sinks in. “There is nothing which you now know, and nothing about what you think you don’t know, that will help you create the success you desire. The key to your success lies only in what you don’t know that you don’t know. Do you understand?” From the book, The World’s Greatest Networker by John Milton Fogg.

GREAT SAVINGS PLAN (DO IT AN ATTEND THE FAMILY REUNION by saving one dollar at a time!). Make a promise to yourself to never again spend a one dollar bill for anything except for possibly tips and tools. If you need something that costs only 89 cents, pay for it with a five dollar bill or large. Do what you will with the change but put the remaining dollar bills in a jar on your dresser. You will be absolutely amazed at how fast those dollars turn into a substantial sum of money. I can assure you that during the course of a year, you will save a sum far greater than the cost of attending the KW Family Reunion no matter where it is being held. Since sometime in April, I have already collected 268 one-dollar bills. Before that I had collected almost 400 one-dollar bills since January of this year. Put those to very good use! Got this idea from Neal Bortz’s book, “Somebody’s Gotto Say It!” (Great read by the way.)

FREE EBOOK. If you want to learn what this week’s quote is all about, if you want to learn how building your Keller Williams Profit Tree can work for you AND those people you sponsor and if you want to understand the benefit and value of residual income, you need to read The World’s Greatest Networker. The book has been uploaded to www.SlidellCalendar.com in the Document Section in the Ebook Folder. When you read it, keep in mind that you are or should be building your real estate business and at the same time developing your Profit Tree and whenever the book refers to Network Marketing, think of building your Profit Tree. THIS IS GOOD STUFF!

THE CRISIS (CURRNT PROBLEMS) IS NOT FINANCIAL. This is a great article that appeared on ActiveRain, written by John Mulkey. It goes hand-in-hand with the Nugget posted on NuggetsForTheNoggin.com today. Check out John’s article at: http://activerain.com/blogsview/1108636/this-crisis-is-not-financial

SOUTHWEST AIRLINE VIDEO: Yes it is entertaining but if you watch closely, you will see someone taking on a boring and very routine part of a job and making it fun. There is a valuable lesson in this short video. http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=db5ed59e2e&view=att&th=121a913d32f83f43&attid=0.1&disp=attd&zw

COMERCIAL REAL ESTATE. Anyone interested in pursuing commercial real estate should give serious consideration to the following:

Take the Commercial Purchase Agreement Course
Join NOMAR’s CID (Commercial Investment Division), cost is $50 a year
Join LACDB which is the Commercial MLS service, Application $100, then $30 a month

NEW LAW HELPS TENANTS: The "Helping Families Save Their Homes Act of 2009", which became law on May 20, 2009, included provisions to protect tenants from eviction as a consequence of a foreclosure affecting the property being rented. Many examples were seen of families living in rental housing throughout the United States who were evicted without any prior notice when the home where they had lived was foreclosed upon. Much of the time, the rental family had no idea the home was in delinquency or subject to foreclosure until their eviction. The new law requires tenants be given 90-days notice prior to having to vacate, and allows them to stay through the remainder of their lease, if the home will continue to be a rental property.
